About Us

Fremont Lacrosse is focused on developing youth Lacrosse players in the East Bay.  we put on Clinics and Camps throughout the East Bay, and will field teams to play in a local youth league.  We are looking for youth from the Fremont/Newark/Union City area interested in learning lacrosse and joining a team.  Check back here often for the latest news and updates on Lacrosse opportunities for Fremont/Newark/Union City area youth.

Weekly Shoutout!
1) Tommy Sah and Evan Van Sickle.  Two U11's, played their first ever lacrosse game last weekend.  Did well, and held their own vs older, bigger, more experienced players.  Both had some good plays on defense, and on ground balls, and most importantly, their participation helped the game happen as we were short players. In addition, thanks to Chris Do for stepping into the goal for the first time.  And a nice surprise discovery...Victor Lombrana won almost every faceoff!  He has found a future role for sure! Great job guys!!
2) High School JV.  The team has started out 3-0!!  Doing a great job.  Dylan Edelson stepped up Saturday vs Casa Grande and played a solid game in the goal.  Cole Waller provided some firepower and some good ball control in the 4th quarter to preserve the victory.  The Defensive unit played well.

May 12 - End of Season Jamboree at Treasure Island

Jamboree schedule for this coming Saturday for U13 and U15 teams is posted at www.NCJLA.org.
U13s play at 10:10 and 12:30. 
U15s play at 11:20 and 1:40.
Games are 1 hr long.

Memorial Weekend May 25-27th

Bay Area Super Series, Hybrid Outdoor and Indoor Tournament for any U11s thru High School.  Fremont will be entering teams so please RSVP if you would like to participate.  Cost is $125 per player.  5 games throughout the weekend.

Summer Lacrosse Camps
 Once again Fremont Park/Rec will offer summer lacrosse camps for youth age 5-18.  Camps are held at the Central Park soccer complex and run from 9am to Noon.  Three camps will be offered this summer:
  • June 25-29
  • July 16-20
  • August 13-17

CONGRATULATIONS!!
We saw history in the making Sunday, as the Fremont High School JV Team...the 1st ever HS team represented by High School players in the Fremont area!!!.....faced off against Pleasanton Lacrosse Club at Foothill High School.  In their first game ever, FRE-LAX HS JV pulled down the victory, 12-8 in a great contest.  6 different players scored goals, including 5 goals from Cole Waller.  Cole and Sam Isola won most of the faceoffs, Darien Crawford had over a dozen saves (better than 60% average) and our defense played well in their first high school game!  FREMONT HIGH SCHOOL LACROSSE IS ON THE MAP!!  Congratulations to the players, and we are looking for more great news this season!
